Re-Imagine: Studio Projects

Re-Imagine: Studio Projects offers support for artists seeking to develop in-depth bodies of work by exploring subjects of interest through a wide range of traditional and non-traditional materials and approaches. To foster conceptual and technical growth, weekly Environments sketchbook prompts provide opportunities to research the natural world and its complex forms, forces, and phenomena through a variety of expressive processes. These visual exercises are designed to inspire studio projects beyond the sketchbook and jumpstart new directions and creative possibilities.

Weekly Tuesday night Zoom meetings allow participants to work together, share ideas, and view and discuss their art with a dedicated community of artists. Three individual 1-on-1 mentoring sessions are included and can be scheduled online or in-person on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays in May. Re-imagining and creating personally relevant and rewarding work, maintaining a vibrant sketchbook practice, and building a committed studio practice is the goal of this course.
